Coloured Reverse Design
The coin's reverse features a 1932 Bickle Triple Combination Pumper. Built in Ontario, Canada by the Bickle Company, the Chieftain was a triple combination pumping engine equipped with a fire pump, water tank, hose and ladders. The fire engine is portrayed inside a stylised firehose and the words FIRE ENGINES OF THE WORLD.
Cook Islands Legal Tender
Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of the Cook Islands, it depicts the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
