Coins/Notes on this site are graded according to Numismatic standards and conditions. The gradings are:

| Proof | Not for circulation and brilliant in looks. No marks at all. Mirror look. |
| FDC | Flower of the die. Light toning and brilliant to look at. Full lustre |
| Gem Unc | Very similar to FDC. % of lustre. Light die wear. |
| Choice Unc | Brilliant look and very appealing. Some toning. |
| Uncirculated | Has not been circulated no scratches or faults. No brilliant look like the above coins. |
| Almost Unc | Minimal wear on high points and less lustre look. |
| Extremely Fine | Both sides of coin shows wear. Attractive coin to look at. |
| Very Fine | Wear on both sides of coin and rim. Further wearing of high points. |
| Fine | wear and lustre gone altogether. |
| Very Good | Worn down thin looking coins no high points anymore colour faded. |

| Uncirculated | Straight from the royal mint in Canberra and no circulation. |
| About Unc | Little circulation and minimal marks. |
| Extremely Fine | Some marks and minimal fold or folds. |
| Very Fine | Moderate circulation good looks and more wear. |
| Fine | Wearing on note and pin holes, marks and very well circulated. |
| Very Good | Worn out this note. Colour faded. Many fold or marks and even slightly torn. |
